Third space User guidelines
Purpose:
This slack serves as a collaborative space for ODNY members to share knowledge, exchange ideas, discuss projects, seek support, and promote best practices related to Organizational Development.
Participation in this slack signifies agreement to adhere to the expectations outlined below.
ODNY commits to:
Maintaining a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Contributing constructively to discussions.
Treating information shared within the slack appropriately.
Using sound judgement before sharing sensitive business, client, org information.
Respecting differing perspectives and engage in productive dialogue.
The following is NOT permitted:
Harassing, discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate content.
Sharing confidential, proprietary, employee/organization-specific, or sensitive business information.
Personal attacks, disruptive behavior, unprofessional conduct, political content.
Solicitation, commercial, or promotional content unless asked for it directly.
Misuse of slack resources or member information.
Slack rules:
Be respectful - Be kind, assume positive intent, engage professionally at all times.
Keep discussions relevant - Share mostly in public channels, keep content related to Organizational Development & ODNY, post in relevant threads as needed.
Share responsibly - Do not post confidential information, and change as much details as necessary to protect employees/organizations/clients.
Maintain professional standards - Use respectgful language, be mindful of how you engage with differing opinions, and avoid excessive tagging/repeated posts that may be disruptive
Respect Intellectual Property - Appropriately credit all resources, and when engaging with others' IP do so respectfully and how the owner has indicated fair use.
