ODNY Third Space is a Slack-based discussion forum for staying connected between events, continuing conversations, sharing resources, asking questions, and learning from others doing similar work.

What happens in Third Space?

Members use the space to:

• Ask questions and get input from fellow practitioners

• Share articles, tools, resources, and ideas

• Continue conversations sparked at ODNY events

• Exchange perspectives on organization development and related work

• Learn about upcoming ODNY programming and opportunities to connect

• Build relationships with others working across OD, organization effectiveness, talent, learning, leadership development, change, and related fields

By joining Third Space, you agree to:

• Be respectful.
  Engage professionally, assume positive intent, and make room for different perspectives.

• Keep conversations relevant and constructive.
  Use the community primarily for topics connected to organization development, ODNY, and the broader work of shaping organizations and workplaces.

• Share responsibly.
  Do not post confidential, proprietary, employee-specific, client-specific, or sensitive business information. When discussing real situations, remove or change identifying details as needed.

• Contribute without disrupting.
  Avoid personal attacks, harassment, discriminatory or offensive content, excessive tagging, repeated posts, or other behavior that interferes with productive conversation.

• Respect intellectual property.
  Credit resources and ideas appropriately, and honor any limits or expectations established by the original creator.

• Keep promotion in perspective.
  This is a community space, not a sales channel. Solicitation, commercial promotion, or repeated self-promotion should be avoided unless someone has specifically asked for a relevant recommendation or resource.

What is not permitted

To protect the quality and trust of the community, ODNY may remove content or members for behavior including:

• Harassing, discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate content

• Sharing confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information

• Personal attacks or disruptive conduct

• Political campaigning or unrelated political content

• Unsolicited commercial or promotional activity

• Misuse of community resources or member information

ODNY reserves the right to moderate the community and remove content or participation that does not align with the Third Space community guidelines.
